Abstract

Considering the importance of students' leisure time and student sports in universities, the strategic attention to this issue in Allameh tabataba'i University was also not negligible. so the purpose of this study was to Designing comprehensive program to enrich the leisure time of Allameh Tabatabai University students with the approach of organized sports. the research was descriptive-analytical. the statistical population of this study included 40 professors, staff, students and sports coaches of the university. the sample was equal to the statistical population. Research tools was the interview and researcher-made questionnaires that their content validity was confirmed based on the opinion of experts and their reliability was obtained using Cronbach's alpha of 0.91. to analyze the data was used from the matrix of evaluation of internal and external factors, SWAT analysis matrix and QSPM Matrix. the results of SWOT analysis showed that the strategic position is in the conservative position and were identified the 3 aggressive strategies, 6 conservative strategies, 4 competitive strategies and 2 defensive strategies. then, the strategy of "developing and improving standard space, equipment and sports facilities in dormitories and colleges, especially for female students" was also ranked first. therefore, the university physical education management can provide more opportunities for students to participate in sports activities in order to enrich their leisure time by developing sports facilities and equipment in dormitories and colleges
