A proper and accurate analysis of a country's pension system and its comparative examination with other countries’ are important components of policy analysis and reform design. Although countries have significant economic, social, cultural, and political differences, and it is not possible to propose a unified model for all countries’ pension systems, valuable practical lessons can be learned from reviewing the experiences of countries around the world. In this regard, this study aims to extract policy recommendations for Iran by examining the experiences of six countries, including countries with economic similarities to Iran (Turkey, Russia, and India) and countries with successful social security systems (Netherlands, UK, and Germany). For this purpose, based on the most important published documents and information, selected countries were analyzed and compared in seven key areas, including their economic and labor market variables, demographic variables, social protection systems, global ranking of pension systems, characteristics and parameters of public pension schemes, generosity of pension programs, and reforms in the pension system. The findings of this research showed that Iran's pension system is much far from the ideal situation and therefore needs some essential reforms. Based on this, the article provides recommendations in three areas of policies regarding the macro environment, social protection system, and pension funds.

Socio-cultural changes and consequently social development in recent decades have caused family values, like other values, to undergo many changes. The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural pattern of relationships between social development and family values among the citizens of Sarvai. The present study was conducted using quantitative method and according to the survey technique. The statistical population of this study was all citizens over 18 years of age in Sari who 400 people were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling method. To collect information were used from the questionnaire technique and for statistical analysis, correlation test and structural equation modeling. Findings indicate that the dimensions of social development have a significant relationship among citizens on traditional and modern family values. Of course, the impact of the dimensions of social development is not the same among citizens on traditional and modern family values. But the dimensions of social development (quality of life, social security, social harmony and development ethics) among citizens have not had a significant relationship on postmodern family values. Therefore, despite observing the relationship between the dimensions of social development and traditional and modern family values, are not observed in relation to it postmodern family values, which if we do not pay attention to the dimensions, we will see the prevalence of postmodern family values.

This research investigates the factors affecting social security in Yasouj and Hamadan. Results show that social trust and religiosity are the most influential factors. The hypothesis is analyzed using a multivariate regression model and among the sample of 750 individuals aged 18 years and over, the following results are included: In the study of security dimensions, feeling political security and feeling of security in the city in Hamadan, is more than that of Yasouj. But feeling the economic security and sense of physical security in the city in Yasouj is more than that of Hamadan. The relationship between religiosity and political security, security in the city and economic security in both cities was confirmed, the relationship of generalized trust with political and economic security was confirmed in both cities too, and shows a stronger relationship in Hamadan. Trusting official authorities in Yasouj with all four dimensions of social security feeling has made a meaningful relationship. The relationship of trust with unofficial authorities with all aspects of security in Yasouj is meaningful but in Hamadan, the relationship between politics and security in the city is very weak. The relationship between trus in friends and feeling of security in the city is significant in Yasouj, but in Hamadan, this kind of trust is significant only in terms of the sense of security in the city and politics, and this relationship is weaker in Hamadan. The relationship between trust in friends and feeling of economic-political dimension and in the city security is significant in Yasouj, but in Hamadan this kind of trust is significant only in terms of the sense of security in the city and politics, and this relationship is weaker in Hamadan. Citizenship is one of the most significant indicators of progress and development. One important dimension of citizenship is cultural citizenship. Basically citizenship without regarding to issues of culture is inconceivable. Creating, expanding and deepening the culture and ethics of citizenship are solutions for many social and urban problems in developing countries. Considering this, the aim of this article is studying factors of civic etic and some of its determining variables. These include social tolerance, seeking participation, citizenship behaviors, interpersonal trust, universalism, accountability, altruism and tendency to follow the law. Using survey method, the correlation was studied among 376 adult citizens of Ivan city. Findings show their grade is average to high, but this does not necessarily ensure their commitment practically. Also there is a meaningful correlation among religious beliefs and feelings of anomie and commitment to citizenship culture. Finally some suggestions are included.

The phenomenon called “female headed household” is a social fact seen in all societies, happening for different reasons. This social group seriously needs social security for making a living and doing social- economic activities. The main goal of this research is to study the factors that influence the social security of women who serve as heads of household, considering the financial, physical, sentimental and communicable aspects of social security. This research is a survey with a statistical sample of 400 women responsible for their families, who are supported by NGOs in Tehran. The data has been analyzed using Multi-Variables Regression and Structural Equation Model (SEM). The research results indicate that the economic factor is the most effective factor among factors such as environmental, legal and family factors. In light of the result of this study, by providing the economic and environmental support for these women so that they feel socially security, they can be empowered.

The present paper, within the framework of social psychology, attempts to study the relationship between social security and life satisfaction. This is a correlational research that first focuses on theoretical concepts and reviews the findings of previous experiments through a library study. In the next part, through a survey (questionnaire) the data were collected from the population of research (students at Islamic Azad University, Tehran North Branch); there were 35 participants in the study, ranging from 17 to 49 years of age; they were selected from among 4350 students using Kukran formula. The results of the study indicate that there is a strong correlation (61%) between social security and life satisfaction in the population of the study. Furthermore, we examined differing aspects of social security (occupational, economic, political, judicial, and security resulting from health and welfare services) and it was revealed that job security (with the regression coefficient of 31%) and economic security (with the regression coefficient of 23%) have the highest impact on life satisfaction. Thus, given the importance of social security and its relationship with life satisfaction, we should look for ways to strengthen social security and this requires attention to this concept and its various aspects on the part of people and authorities.

Security is considered as the most significant necessity and the most essential base for existence and survival of human communities. In fact, if a person feels that no risk threatens his/her life, properties and health, he/she will achieve social security feeling. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between social capital as an independent variable and social security feeling among mothers of educable mental retarded children who are trained in Exceptional Schools of Islamshahr city in the education year of 2010-2011. In this research, social capital was assessed enjoying Putnam theory in three aspects of social relations, trust and participation in collective actions. And social security feeling was evaluated according to Chalabi theory in four aspects of property, life, group and intellectual security. Statistical population included mothers of educable mental retarded children who are trained in Exceptional Schools of Islamshahr city in the years 2010-2011. Since the number of statistic population was low, complete coverage of population (218 qualified mothers) were interviewed. The findings indicate the low level of social capital and social security feeling in the mentioned population. There is also meaningful and positive correlation between social capital and social security feeling. The results of regression analysis show that 38% of changes of social security are explained by independent variables as well. The results of path analysis indicate that the variables of basic trust and duration of marriage, the number of children and level of education have relationship with social security feeling.

The study of directors and employees’ activities in the Social Security Organization would support solving problems including the rate of insurance, incomes of investment and medical services. In this research, we used communicative action theory and factorial uses theory. The statistical population was all directors and employees of Social Security Organization in Tehran. The selected sample was 45 people including 13 directors and 32 employees. The results of this study show that there are significant differences between the views of directors and employees of Social Security Organization with regard to increasing benefits, management techniques, work progress and other problems in the organization. This shows that there is not any interaction between directors and employees. Finally, our suggestion in this research is more interaction between directors and employees in Social Security Organization. Therefore, Public Relation Sector plays an important role in the organization.
