The aim of this study was to investigate the factors affecting the professional development of higher education staff using a data-driven approach. Purposive sampling was used. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 14 experts in the field of professional development and analyzed using open, axial, and selective coding. Key components of professional development included personal learning and growth, organizational support and structure, and adaptation to technological changes, as well as causal factors of professional development were identified in three categories: resources and infrastructure, interactions and networking, and motivation and opportunities. Contributing factors included professional behavior of staff and socio-personality types, and professional development strategies were categorized into the axes of professional planning and counseling, and motivation and empowerment. Technology, organizational support, and equipment were identified as intervention factors and the outcomes of professional development included improving organizational performance, promoting organizational culture, increasing innovation, and job satisfaction. The results show that professional development of employees can be considered a key factor for achieving sustainable development in higher education, and investing in improving employee capabilities will pave the way for organizational development and, consequently, achieving the macro goals of sustainable development in social, cultural, and economic dimensions. Therefore, strengthening technological infrastructure, specialized consulting programs, and institutionalizing a learning culture in organizations should be pursued as a fundamental strategy towards simultaneously achieving professional development and sustainable development.

Considering that informal employment has many consequences on poverty and income distribution, it is important to know the factors affecting it; Therefore, the aim of this study was to know the factors affecting informal employment in the border regions of Iran. This meta- synthesis study was conducted with the six-step method of Walsh and Dunn (2005). 2024 articles were retrieved from different databases, of which 15 articles were used according to the research objectives. The findings showed that various factors such as the nature of informal jobs, social-cultural conditions, economic factors, institutional factors, geographical situation and overseas factors play a role in informal employment in the border regions of Iran. The results indicated that the factors that encourage people to work informally are diverse and heterogeneous. International instruments such as the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) emphasize the necessity of meaningful participation of these individuals in decision-making processes; however, global evidence indicates the persistence of structural and cultural challenges in realizing this goal. This study aimed to identify the patterns, barriers, and strategies for enhancing the participation of persons with disabilities in policymaking through a qualitative systematic review using the meta-synthesis approach. Data analysis followed the seven-step framework of Barroso and Sandelowski (2006) and was structured according to the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. The study population consisted of scientific articles published between 2001 and 2025 in reputable national and international databases, from which 47 studies met the inclusion criteria. Data were coded and analyzed using NVivo software. To ensure the reliability of the meta-synthesis, inter-coder reliability was calculated using Cohen’s Kappa (κ = 0.78), indicating a strong level of agreement. The analysis revealed that participation occurs in various forms—direct, institutional, consultative, and technology-driven. Nonetheless, ongoing legal, attitudinal, economic, and inter-organizational barriers continue to hinder equal and effective participation. The findings highlight institutional reform, the use of accessible technologies, and policymaker education as key strategies to promote meaningful participation.Keywords: Persons with disabilities, Disability rights, Participation, Social policymaking, Metasynthesis.

Social– ecological resilience is a key concept for understanding the dynamics of resource-dependent communities, reflecting the capacity of a system to absorb disturbances, adapt to changes, and reorganize towards a more desirable state. This study aims to identify the theoretical foundations and methodological approaches employed in research on resilience within mineral resource–based communities, using a systematic review guided by the PRISMA framework. Accordingly, 20 peer-reviewed international studies published between 2000 and 2023 were analyzed. Findings reveal that most studies are grounded in the evolutionary approach and the adaptive cycle theory, conceptualizing resilience as a multidimensional process encompassing environmental, economic, social, human, cultural, and institutional dimensions that evolve through four stages: growth, conservation, release, and reorganization. Methodologically, the majority of studies adopted quantitative approaches, employing techniques such as Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and GIS-based spatial modeling, whereas qualitative research utilized inductive reasoning and thematic analysis to explore communities’ adaptive responses. The results highlight a significant gap between theoretical conceptualization and empirical measurement of resilience, underscoring the need to integrate social, institutional, and cultural dimensions into existing models. By addressing this research gap, the study emphasizes the necessity of developing context-specific, interdisciplinary frameworks for analyzing and enhancing resilience in Iran’s mining communities

The present study aims to investigate the impact of satisfaction with service quality on institutional trust among members of single-branch microfinance funds, with the mediating role of perceived justice by service recipients (Case Study: Members of the Shahed Microfinance Fund). From this perspective, a quantitative research strategy and a survey study design were employed. Accordingly, research data were collected and analyzed from 381 members of the Shahed Microfinance Fund across 32 service regions who received financial facilities during the first half of the Iranian year 1403 (March–September 2024). Participants were selected using Cochran and Sharp’s sampling formula and stratified sampling method. Descriptive findings indicated that the overall index of institutional trust among members had a mean of 36.638 (with a cutoff point of 24), member satisfaction had a mean of 84.564 (cutoff point: 63), and perceived justice had a mean of 27.357 (cutoff point: 18), all of which are at desirable levels. Moreover, inferential findings based on structural equation modeling (SEM) showed that the empirical (path) structural model and the reflective measurement model of veterans’ satisfaction with the quality of services provided by the Shahed Microfinance Fund had an acceptable fit and alignment with the theoretical model.Keywords: Social trust, institutional trust, perceived justice of service recipients, microfinance fund, Shahed, members.

The level of social participation of individuals in society has a significant impact on achieving a better life and creating a more developed society. Non governmental organizations (NGOs) take steps towards humanitarian goals and reduction of social harms by attracting public participation. The main question of the current research is what issues and challenges prevent this popular participation and as a result, the non-governmental organizations distance themselves from their important goals. The method used in this research is based on qualitative methodology and "theme analysis". In order to collect data in this research, a semi-structured in-depth interview was conducted with 27 civil activists with a history of cooperation with non-governmental organizations using a purposive sampling method, and finally, a number of basic, organizing and comprehensive themes were obtained. According to the findings, four categories of problems including "structural/environmental challenges", "organizational/peripheral challenges", "strategic challenges", and "consequential challenges" were counted. Also, the main challenge facing NGOs to attract public participation was named as the central theme of "incomplete companionship". This phenomenon points to the fact that although the NGOs bring people with them and with their help they try to reduce harms and social problems, but this companionship does not involve the general society but only a few groups.

The present study was conducted with the aim of developing a qualitative model of social hope of Kurdistan province martyrs. The method of qualitative research and theme analysis has been implemented. The target community in the research is the community of martyrs of Kurdistan province. The research method is applied according to the purpose; According to the type of data, the quality is exploratory. The findings of the research are based on semi-structured interviews with elites, main and sub-themes have been extracted based on coding and analysis of themes and topics. In the first stage, using a semi-structured interview with expert experts and university professors and veterans in the number of ten people, it was processed in a targeted way until the theoretical saturation stage to identify the effective components on the formulation of the qualitative model of social hope of the veterans of Kurdistan province. By using coding, the extraction of codes and the main and secondary components of the research were determined. MAXQDA software was used to analyze the data. The findings of the research show eleven (11) main components and (37 sub-themes) including: the theme of economic status, the theme of injustice and feeling of inequality, and the theme of dissatisfaction with life, mental health and prevention of social harms, the theme of employment, and the theme of religiosity ,
