The present paper posits "corporate welfare" as a realm where companies exert influence on the state to secure various financial and non-financial support, potentially aligning with, or deviating from, broader state economic and industrial objectives. Examining the dynamics of corporate welfare can not only illuminate the nature of state-firm relations, but also offer insights into the evolution of social welfare and provide a holistic understanding of the welfare state encompassing both its social and corporate dimensions. This research employs a case study approach, focusing on a specific government commission in Iran and its transformation from 1997 to 2021. Through document analysis and content analysis, we aim to depict the multifaceted nature of corporate welfare in Iran, uncovering its evolving forms, dimensions, and resource allocation patterns. Preliminary findings suggest that loan disbursements, debt restructuring, and deferrals constitute the prevalent forms of corporate welfare during the six presidential administrations under investigation. Notably, these interventions not only persisted but also expanded, exhibiting notable generosity. Furthermore, we observe an institutional leap, transforming the initial ministerial commission into a legally sanctioned entity with provincial working groups by the end of the study period. However, a concerning lack of industrial targeting and the prevalence of non-conditional, untested, and sometimes bulk aid distributions characterize the observed corporate welfare practices. Moreover, no mechanisms for evaluating the effectiveness of these interventions were identified.

Firouzkoh is a transit hub for travelers traveling from different cities of the country especially Tehran to Mazandaran province. At this city, the 45-meter street is the main axis of passenger traffic towards Mazandaran. Since these streets have the largest number of service centers to provide services to passengers, heavy traffic is observed in them at all day. In addition, the narrow width of the passage have contributed to traffic problems. In order to, reduce the volume of traffic in the mentioned two axes, the municipality approved the construction plan of 18 meters as the return route of Pasdaran Street from the city center. With the construction of this crossing, the neighborhood of Qanbarabad have been directly affected by the aspects of the change of use from residential to commercial, population displacement and the change of social structure resulting from the implementation of this project. Despite the economic and social impacts caused by the construction of the 18-meter crossing on these neighborhoods, a study has not been conducted to identify these impacts and adopt appropriate policies to reduce the negative consequences of the project. Therefore, in this research, an attempt has been made to identify the economic and social effects of the construction of this project by using the qualitative study method, and provide solutions to reduce the negative consequences of this project.

"Community-oriented tourism" is seen as a suitable tool for promoting tourism development, increasing community welfare and also empowering local communities.Community-oriented tourism" is seen as a suitable and alternative tool for promoting tourism development, increasing community welfare and also empowering local communities. However, despite efforts to meaningfully participate in tourism development projects, community participation remains a challenge. Therefore, this study aims to identify the challenges of social participation of the local community and also provide practical suggestions to overcome these challenges. In order to carry out this research, challenges were identified and investigated using the background study of the research. In the following, these challenges were transformed into a structured system using the interpretative structural modeling technique. In order to fit the formed structural system, the technique of structural equations was used with the application of SmartPLS software. The statistical population of the current research is made up of 29 people from Iran's tourism industry as experts and 114 as sample respondents of the questionnaire. The results of the research show that the identified challenges fall into three categories: operational, structural, and social, and the challenges of the structural category are the source of other challenges, and suggestions were made in order to solve the challenges.

The lived experiences of Iranian martyrs' wives – of Iraq Iran war- as an important social group, have been less explored and researched. To carry out local studies on motherhood, this research, analyzing the lives of martyrs' wives in the process of taking on the role of motherhood, This research wants to give a view of their social life in the face of challenges. In the absence of data, fourteen published narratives of martyrs' children have been qualitatively analyzed as documents.The emerging social issues can be analyzed in the three stages. The first stage is based on the joint life of the couple and includes accepting the spirit of self-sacrifice of the husband and experiencing the apprehensions of possible fatal dangers. The second stage is marked by the martyrdom event and its characteristic is the shock and emotional trauma of facing the reality of martyrdom, mourning, accepting the loss and reaching the meaning of being the single head of the family. The essence of the third stage, which has a wider scope compared to the previous two stages, is adaptation to the conditions. The result is the burden of the role for them, which manifests itself with consequences such as psychological and physical injuries. However, the evaluation of the children shows the realization of a capable motherhood.

This research was conducted to identify the optimal pattern of recruitment and retention of volunteers.A semi constructed interview was conducted with the target group includes managers and experts at two levels with at least 5years of work experience related to the field of volunteering,as well as volunteers with at least 4years of active membership in the Red Crescent.The interviews continued until "theoretical saturation"was realized and a total of 23managers and experts and 18volunteers in 7provinces,which had more volunteers.The thematic network analysis method was used to analyze the data.We found 12sub-themes and 4main themes that the main themes are:1.The confrontation of modern management with traditional management(intelligent management,efficient and need-based recruitment as well as organization and employment)2. Empowerment and social development in line with the retention of volunteers(motivation acts as a strategic weapon in attracting and retaining volunteers,social participation,the proper foundation,and training effectiveness),3.Efficient and effective service management(compilation of evaluation system, control and transferring, identifying and implementing strategies for welfare policies, and explaining the value system for volunteers and volunteer work) and4.Current conditions governing volunteers and volunteer work(structural problems at the population level and infrastructural problems of volunteer work).The extracted themes were considered the basic components of the model of attracting and maintaining the participation of volunteers.The desired model was introduced based on three components of input,process, and output

The rise in female-headed households and the vulnerabilities they face in the social, economic and health area in the country, has brought these women into policy priorities and implementation. By utilizing of the data dashboard for female-headed households (data related to years 2016 to 2018) and clustering analysis, this article classifies the country’s provinces based on the vulnerability of female-headed households in economic, health, social and demographic contexts to provide new evidence for regional policy and planning. The findings showed that although Tehran and Alborz provinces have higher income levels than other provinces of the country, they allocate a significant share of their income to the basic need of providing housing and using healthcare services which can be related to the widespread prevalence of renting among female-headed households and their less access to health insurance despite being more prone to certain diseases. Sistan and Baluchistan province is more exposed to social and demographic vulnerability than other provincial clusters. Because there are more illiterate female heads of households who have to take care of more people, including more children who are studying. The results of this study by indicating the interaction of various dimensions of vulnerability revealed the importance of simultaneous attention to these dimensions for the success of welfare interventions and meeting the needs of female-headed households.

The purpose of this article is to examine the changes in the spaces and reread the actions that have been taken by people and the governments in different countries to return the spaces to the people. In the following, the changes of the urban space in the dimensions of form, function (use) and meaning in the city of Tehran have been investigated. In the first step, the research method is analytical and based on the documentary method and qualitative content analysis.In the investigation of the case study, the quantitative method and the questionnaire tool(204)were used and the data were analyzed with the SPSS tool. The results of the first step showed the changes of urban public spaces in the form of duals concepts: private space/public space;security/ insecurity;sociability and isolation/sociability and communication; xenophobia/ social communication.The results in the second step showed that the conditions of presence and use of the urban space during the Corona period have changed compared to before, and as a result, people's emotional experience of being in the space is negative and tends towards fear. In fact, insecurity has been manifested in a different way.Also,the physical changes in the form of government actions are more of a warning type, but the people's desires include improving pedestrian access, increasing the number and access to open spaces, and increasing the size of the spaces.
